The Hampton inn tunnel road Asheville nc

This hotel was by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in on this trip... Very nice! The entryway is lined with trees all the way up to the covered parking... The lobby is wonderful, rooms great, indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna... Very nice!

I would stay here again and I'd ask for the king study because they have a front entrance in the hallway and a back entrance directly to the pool...

We are now driving on the blue ridge parkway!!

Continental breakfast... Yum!!

Great food!

So if you come to Asheville, you have to eat at cornerstone cafe! Huge servings and everything tastes fresh and home made!! Yum!!

The lost sea...

This place was great! I have no photos yet because it was too dark for my phone photos... But the underground sea was about the size of four football fields ( that's what they told us). The part we saw was probably half that size, very deep (70 feet) and crystal clear. They had lights in the water so it cast a beautiful blue color all over the lake. There were some huge trout in the water and Grayson thought that was the best part. The tour guide told us the Cherokee Indians used the caverns ad a hide out during the trail of tears.., it was a great history lesson too!!
